Exécution d'un Epson Scanner Perfection 3170 dans Ubuntu 14.04

C'est le même problème que j'avais pour Ubuntu 11.04 : Exécution d'un Scanner perfection 3170 d'epson mais je ne peux pas l'appliquer pour Ubuntu 14.04.

J'ai installé les deux iscan_2.10.0-2_i386.deb & iscan-plugin-gt-9400_1.0.0-2_i386.deb

$ sudo sane-find-scanner  | grep -i epson

Ce que j'ai fait :

  1. Désinstaller les paquets sane/xsane/... installés par Ubuntu

  2. Clonez sane-backend depuis git & installez-le

    ./configure --enable-libusb_1_0  --disable-translations --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc
  3. Clonez sane-frontend depuis git & installez-le

    ./configure  --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc
  4. Modifier /etc/sane.d/dll.conf : Commenter epson y epson scan . Ajouter epkowa qui manquait dans ce dossier.

  5. Le dossier /etc/sane.d/epkowa.conf a disparu. J'ai ajouté le usb-id pour mon scanner.

    $ grep -vE '^#' /etc/sane.d/epkowa.conf 
    
    scsi EPSON    
    usb    
    usb 0x04b8 0x0116
  6. Installer iscan et son plugin à partir du RPM disponible chez Epson

  7. Redémarrer

J'avais des problèmes similaires avec un Epson Perfection 3170 et Ubuntu 12.04. J'ai essayé toutes les sane.d , epkowa, udev rules mais je ne voulais pas utiliser le clone git, alors j'ai essayé d'utiliser le PPA de Rolf Bensch ppa:rolfbensch/sane-git toujours pas de succès.

Je me souviens avoir vu un message d'erreur antérieur concernant l'absence de libjpeg62 ; après l'avoir installé, xsane a fonctionné !
