Problème de configuration de la réplication maître-maître dans MySQL

Je tente de mettre en place une réplication maître-maître sur deux serveurs de bases de données MySQL.

J'ai suivi les étapes dans ce guide mais il échoue au milieu de l'étape 4 avec SHOW MASTER STATUS; Il renvoie simplement un ensemble vide.

J'obtiens les 3 mêmes erreurs dans les journaux des deux serveurs.

Erreurs MySQL sur SQL1 :

Erreurs MySQL sur SQL2 :

Les erreurs n'ont aucun sens car je ne fais référence à ces fichiers dans aucune de mes configurations. J'utilise Ubuntu Server 10.04 x64 et mes fichiers de configuration sont copiés ci-dessous. Je ne sais pas où aller à partir de là ou comment résoudre ce problème. Veuillez m'aider. Merci.

Ok, bien, j'ai trouvé ça tout seul.

Il y avait plusieurs fichiers dans /var/lib/mysql/ avec des noms comme sql1-relay-bin.00000x (où x est un nombre entier). Un message que j'ai trouvé sur un autre site suggérait de supprimer ces fichiers. Je l'ai fait et, comme de juste, tout a fonctionné.

Apparemment, il s'agissait de vestiges de tentatives antérieures incomplètes de ce processus.
