Comment puis-je savoir combien de RAM je peux mettre à niveau sur mon ordinateur portable ?

J'ai un ordinateur portable Acer (Aspire E1-431) dont je voudrais augmenter la RAM. Idéalement, je voudrais avoir 4Gb mais je n'ai aucune idée de comment vérifier si le matériel peut supporter cette extension.

En général, dans un terminal (ctrl-alt-t pour en démarrer un), exécutez la commande :

sudo dmidecode | more

et regardez le "Physical Memory Array", qui devrait vous indiquer la capacité maximale et le nombre de périphériques pour la mémoire système.
